EMERGENCY AID FOR THE HURRICANE IDA

With this emergency aid project a total of 600 families with a minimum 5 members each from ten indigenous and ethnical communities were directly benefited. We contributed with the distribution of food in the form of proteins such as milk and meat for children and pregnant women in the communities that were affected by the hurricane; we also distributed medicines to fight against stomach (diarrhea), respiratory, gynecological and other diseases that are usually present after these natural disasters. Communities that were benefited: Karawala. Kara,Sandy Bay Sirpe, La Esperanza, La Barra, Tasbapaunie, Corn Island, and Little Corn Island..
